About our Music Director

A Note from Kevin!

As music director of the Chesapeake Youth Chorale I wish to continue a basis of musical excellence while still challenginKevin Thomasg the singers both vocally and musically.  With every choral group it is a challenge to find a specific sound.  It is indeed my hope that they CYC and I can find our collective voice.

A choir, although made up of many voices needs to sound with one voice.  As we continue to grow as a group in our music, let us also grow in our relationships with one another.  The closer we are with one another as friends, the better we will sing as one voice.  So let us have fun, make music and become closer to one another as friends and musicians but most of all let us find the voice of the Chesapeake Youth Chorale!
