Chesapeake Youth Chorale, Inc. was founded in 1999 to meet the need in the Chesapeake Bay area for a chorale expressly intended for youth. The group draws members from the entire Mid-Shore area.

Rehearsals occur during the school year on Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the Grace Luthern Church at 111 Brooklets Ave Easton, MD. The choir holds both Winter and Spring concerts as well as making various other appearances around the Mid-Shore.

The CYC is opened to youth ages eight to eighteen, from all racial, ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds. The Chorale was established as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
